Our story
Our creator, Whitney Oppe, grew up in West Virginia and always hated the short life of the wildflowers surrounding her home. She loved flowers so much that she planted her own flower garden, but they never lasted long enough on their own. So her mind began to wonder, what if she could give a new life to the blooms? What if she could preserve their colors for generations to come? And that is just what she has done. With her special processes, she has found what we consider to be the best flower preservation methods and used her background in artistry to create incredible artwork from the preserved blossoms.
Her love for preservation then inspired her to start working with butterflies and moths. She began incorporating their delicate forms into her artwork. All of her efforts now allow those who purchase one of her pieces to bring the wild and wonderful world into their homes.
